End User License Agreement

Effective Date: March 15, 2025

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and the developer of Word Slicer ("Licensor," "we," "our," or "us") for the use of the Word Slicer mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA.

1. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on devices that you own or control, strictly in accordance with this EULA and any applicable usage rules set forth by Apple's App Store Terms of Service or Google Play Terms of Service (collectively, "Usage Rules").

2. License Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion thereof
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or transfer the App to any third party
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to interact with the App or gain unfair advantages

3. Ownership

The App, including all content, features, graphics, user interface, audio, and code, is owned by the Licensor and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This EULA does not grant you any ownership rights in the App.

4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App may offer in-app purchases, including a premium subscription ("Word Slicer Pro"). All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store or Google Play Store after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

5. User Accounts and Content

You may create an account to access certain features of the App, including leaderboards and progress tracking. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. Any gameplay data, scores, and usernames you create or submit may be displayed publicly on leaderboards.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE APP; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE APP; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

9. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. We may terminate or suspend your license at any time without prior notice if you breach any terms of this EULA. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices. Sections relating to ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law shall survive termination.

10. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services, including but not limited to RevenueCat for subscription management and the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for distribution and payment processing. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

11. Updates and Modifications

We may from time to time issue updates, upgrades, or patches for the App. You agree that we may automatically update the App on your device. We may also modify this EULA at any time, and your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

12. Governing Law

This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Apple-Specific Terms

If you downloaded the App from Apple's App Store, the following additional terms apply:

• This EULA is between you and the Licensor only, and not with Apple. The Licensor, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App.
• In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection laws.
• In the event of any third-party claim that the App infringes a third party's intellectual property rights, the Licensor, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such claim.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary.
